Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Marseil, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Marseil provides an AI agent platform that allows users to create and deploy conversational AI agents trained on their own knowledge base. Agents can be deployed via embeddable chat widgets, public links, Slack integrations, or REST APIs. The service is provided 'as is' and may be updated or changed without prior notice.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You agree not to share your account or use the service for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for all content you upload, all activity that occurs under your account, and all API calls made using your project API keys.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Marseil to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others; to generate misleading, defamatory, or harmful outputs; or to circumvent usage limits or access controls. API access is restricted to Professional and Ultimate plan subscribers. Free and Basic plan users may generate API keys but may not use them until they upgrade.
5. Conversation Sharing
Project owners may enable or disable public sharing of individual conversations. Shared conversations are accessed via signed, time-limited tokens (30-day expiry). You are responsible for the content of any conversations you choose to share publicly. Disabling sharing immediately revokes access to all previously shared links for that project.
6. Data Export
You may export your conversation data in CSV format at any time through the dashboard or API (Professional and Ultimate plans). Exports are streamed directly and are not stored on our servers. You retain full ownership of your exported data.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Marseil a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. Marseil retains ownership of the platform, codebase, and all associated intellectual property.
8. Billing & Cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance (annual plans include a 2-month discount). You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period. Any remaining credits from your final billing cycle are yours to keep even if you cancel. Refunds are not provided for partial periods. Credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marseil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
